Campaign For New York Health
Every New Yorker - rich or poor, urban or rural, U.S. citizen or undocumented, upstate or downstate - deserves access to quality, affordable health care. We are part of the Campaign for New York Health, a coalition working to pass the New York Health Act and bring single-payer universal health care to everyone in our state.
Why is this important?
Even after full implementation of the Affordable Care Act, a million New Yorkers lack insurance. Others continue to find their healthcare unaffordable and go without care that they need.
With the future of the Affordable Care Act and federal funding for Medicaid in question, addressing health care inequality is more important than ever.
What can you do?
If you are a clergy person or faith leader sign this petition to lawmakers. If not, share the petition with clergy/faith leaders in your community and ask for their support!
